COVID-19 Policy/Procedures Update

Dear patients and clients of Hunter Family Vision,
Effective Monday, March 23rd: we have reduced our office hours with limited staff members due to the COVID-19 crisis. Please see our listed hours for most up to date open times as it may change week to week.

Per CDC guidelines, all appointments for routine eye care examinations are being postponed.
Ocular emergencies: HFV doctors are available for ocular eye emergencies and essential eye care to reduce overburdened emergency departments and urgent care clinics. Examples include experiencing eye pain, flashes of light/floaters, infection, sudden loss of vision, contact lens complications, foreign body or injury to the eye, etc. Please call our office and our doctors are available to speak to you and we will proceed as necessary. Our offices are still both available via phone: however, due to the overwhelming amount of calls at times and limited staff in our offices, we highly recommend sending us a message by clicking here if you are unable to reach us. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
Glasses, and optical services: We offer 2 options:

Mail. If you have glasses that are ready for pick up, our opticians can pre-adjust them and mail them to you directly. Fitting and adjustments can be made at curbside if needed or in later weeks to come.
Pick Up. Please make an appointment by clicking here. We ask that first you call our office and provide payment over the phone if you have a remaining balance. When you arrive at our office for pick up please call our office and we will do curbside pick up and bring them outside to you. Fitting and adjustments can be made at curbside if needed or in later weeks to come.

Contact lenses: please contact us here to reorder your contact lenses. The contact lenses will be shipped directly to you. We also recommend subscribing to our easy to manage contact lens reordering resource by clicking here.
- For expiring contact lens prescriptions: we will are extending all contact lens prescriptions expiring in March until the end of May 2020.
